But it was DaFunks that started the whole thing....
I just kept feeling like i was following him and Myra all around the place...
Then i got this place and started begging peoples to come take a look at it..n stuff..*L*
But it was the ...Leo in defence thing, takin on all you guys that made it interesting to come to in the very beginning....remember? .. a few times even!!

I remember trying to always be here so i wouldnt miss what was going to happen next... *L*

Then shit started happening in the pool..
Thats when this place started taking off...
all the times Nitro would go on his power trips, and there was nothing you could do about it...
There was no place to keep something permanent....
The Party House did? or does have a message board, i'm not sure of who runs it, or ran it??...but its nothing like this....

And like just recently, Nitro asked about EMPRESS, instead of telling him...
i told him she posted all there was to say about it on the board....
its exactly what she wanted us to know, without adding to, or taking anything from it.....

And how about the 'raining pickles' incident, i missed it, but its here to see whenever you get the feeling the pool has never been fun...*L*


i can go on and on and on about all the things we have here..
theres 870 Topics and 15970 Posts going on a year and 2 months...

This has been a place to love, laugh, and cry, to get pissed off, if the need be...

and to get to know one another just a little bit better....

to meet new people, and talk about the ones we miss..
an extention of the pool..
or a refuge, when the pool gets to be overwhelming....
Alot of times i'm glad its here...
with me not even thinking i have anything to do with it...

*L* i've learned to skim over things, i'd rather not read...

i've learned not to voice my opinion, on things i know nothing about, and just watch and learn....

i'm always amazed at the intelligence in here.. and more so, the capability of the people who challenge it...

i've been two seconds away, from losing this board, to having to start completely over...Then Myra helped save it!!
is something i will never forget !!!
God! what a fucked up day that was!!

Jody (Sniffers) has always been here for me, everytime i've needed her!! She's like a force of strenth, when i dont know what to do next..
.She comes in with power, when i'm totally exhausted...

I love this place, and i appreciate everyone that comes in here..

*L mel, i was being a wiseass....i forgot it had said "old and new" and my board is a year old this month

all the things you just mentioned, the history of this board, brought me back.......HAHAHA!......brought me waaaay back

mel, you and sniffer have done an excellent job here.....sometimes i regret not taking you up on your offer to co-mod cuz i woulda squished so many people by now, but it's probably a good thing it worked out the way it did

we've sure had a great time here, havent we.....and the hub of this whole experience has been knowing you, mel.....i've never seen anyone (who matters *G) say a bad thing about you, and this is a testament of how much you truly are loved in this computer world

i remember when you told me to get my own board so you could fiddle with the control panel on another board without getting a second one *LOL*....i also remember being pressed for a theme, so i threw out the Beatles, since they're my #1 favorite band, and you showing me the ropes and letting me find things out for myself....it was fun, i felt so connected to you doing that, crying to you over ICQ or just learning or laughing with you *G....plus i was very pregnant and about to have myself induced....and when i came back, you and a few others had the warmest welcome for me and the baby on both here and my board.....it meant, and still means, more to me than i could ever express here *tight hug*

taking people on, as mel mentioned, may have been interesting or entertaining to the rest of you, but i gotta admit, it takes a lot out of me *LOL*....you've seen a few sides of me that i havent been very proud of....i've been hormonal and went through some nasty post-partum crap for a while, but by the same token, i've also tried to use this as a way to send out some of the good stuff too......i've felt free to be myself on this board, good, bad or indifferent....i'm not always the easiest person to get along with, and the fact that i still have a lot of the same friends i had all along reassures me that maybe i possess more good than bad qualities, and for that i thank you all

to the newbie monitors (most of them, anyway *G)....i wish you luck, MUCH luck, with the control panel *EG hehehe.....and i've already started posting a little to help you guys get started.....my bookmark list seems to have doubled in the last couple of days cuz there are so many of you getting boards now *LOL*....but i also like the feeling like it's an extended family from this board....hell, i even post more here than i do on my own board!

mel, as much as this is a team effort, you certainly do have plenty to do with it!...you've provided a place for people to take stuff from the scrolling, chaotic screen of the pool and say things with the luxury of taking their time to think and express themselves....things have gotten dissected and resolved both in the pool and on the board, a valuable resource sometimes....after reading what's in a person's mind and heart on here, one tends to go back into the chatroom with a different perspective

i also think it's cool that we got spawners here now and in the pool *tips hat to LORD HIGH BEAR, SPYDER and Rev*.... ....that's another group of cool people who i'm so very glad to have met.....some of the closest friends i have ever made online i met on that board.....*hugs LoSt SoUl*

PS - i'm convinced i'll never know the meaning of the word--->BRIEF!
